This is a picture of some of our VE6RCM antennas at the Red Cross building in Mediicine Hat.

       Local Repeater frequencies and some HF freq. of note:

NOTE:  VE6VVR and VE6HAT are both MHARC repeaters.


PLEASE NOTE: All repeaters in the Medicine Hat area are about to require a 100 Hz tone to access the repeaters.

 VE6VVR - Repeater - location NE Medicine Hat - 145.410 MHz -  Tone-100Hz.  .
VE6HAT - Repeater - location SE Elkwater - 147.060 MHz.-  
VVR-HAT link frequency link to VVR: 434.850 MHz SIMPLEX
VE6HAT - digipeater - 144.390 MHz.  provides APRS digipeating for the SE corner of the province.
VE6RCM - IRLP link to the internet (our node # 1188)   --- 147.570 MHz. simplex (Tone-100Hz.)

VE6HHO - Repeater - location NW Medicine Hat - 146.700-  MHz has fairly good coverage of the area (Tone-100Hz.).

Environment Canada weather station - Medicine Hat -  162.550 MHz      
Weatheradio is broadcast on frequencies across Canada on 162.400, 162.425, 162.450, 162.475, 162.500, 162.525 and 162.550 MHz and is available on the FM or AM band at selected locations...             .
      
   


Some fellows prefer to use simplex.  Try 146.52, MHz.      'Also known as the default calling frequency' for VHF

Saskatchewan Public Service Net                3.735 MHz.  @ 1:00 Z.
Alberta Public Service Net                            3.700 MHz.  @ 1:30 Z.
British Columbia Public Service Net           3.729 MHz.  @ 1:30 Z.
Snowbird net -                                                 14.317 MHz at 8:00 am MS/DT and 7.233 MHz. at  5:00 pm MS/DT

   This repeater normally covers a wide area  -
- Highway 1 from Tompkins SK. to Brooks (and beyond?)
- Highway 41 from the US border to the Sandy point bridge across the South Saskatchewan
